Ruby Marshall MBE ‘retired’ as Chair of NESCHA just before our conference
Ruby has provided outstanding leadership and worked tirelessly as a founder and Chair of NESCHA. Ruby helped start the organisation which has carried out a wide range of work since since the very beginning in 2005. Ruby who is 86 years old has decided to stand down from some of the many organisations she has worked with but will continue as a Board member of NESCHA. Ruby was presented with an engraved glass bowl, flowers and a ‘This is Your Life ‘ book, by Ron Wood the new Chair.
Interesting interview with Sir David Behan - looking back on how the CQC has changed since he took over
This report is excellent and says so much that we in NESCHA have been saying for so long - why cant older people be treated consistently across the country with the best practice that so many workers and organisations can provide?
A great resource that has been co-produced and in a wider partnership including Trusts in the NE
