Integrated Care Systems, and innovative technological solutions will all have an impact upon service users and patients in the near and long term future. The conference was attended by just under a hundred people working as professionals (or as volunteers) in social care and health, and the related voluntary sector but also service users, carers, and patients. Technology, in various forms, the NHS app, simulation seen in Melissa, and also new approaches to management and sharing best practice, will all have a substantial impact upon professionals as well as service users and patients in the near and long term future.
