Help develop a national strategy for social care research

NESCHA are assisting the Research Design Service (RDS) for the North East and North Cumbria (NENC) which has been invited to carry out a consultation with key stakeholders regarding the national strategy for social care research

Research into adult social care is a high priority area for the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR). The RDS is drawing on the views of a wide range of stakeholders nationally to inform the development of the national strategy for social care research. Stakeholders include colleagues within the NIHR, social care practitioner groups and researchers, national and third sector organisations and groups of people using or caring for people using social care, to understand key issues and challenges from their perspectives.

In order to gain your views on what the key research areas are that need prioritising we would like to invite you to a consultation event. This event will allow people from the North East and North Cumbria to have an input into developing a national strategy for research in social care.

To thank you for your time and input into this consultation we will be able to refund your travel expenses and provide a gift voucher as a token of our appreciation.
