How to become a effective advocate in preparing an appeal and representing people at First-tier Review Tribunals.

WORKSHOP TWO 1.00- 2.30

Representation and Personal Budget Issues

Providing support with people with these who feel they are being in adequately supported by Adult Social Care

How to effectively challenge personal budget calculations and to represent peoples wishes.

Denis Hart – our Workshop leader – is a former Head of Social Work at Teesside University, has vast experience and expertise in representing people, with considerable success. He has advised many to through his close involvement with NESCHA.

Who may wish to attend?

These workshops will be of interest to :-

  • relatives
  • volunteers
  • carers and
  • professionals

who support people with needs,  their relatives or carers.

Booking?

You may attend one or both of these free workshops but would be helpful if you indicate which you will be attending so we can plan catering  arrangements as we will be offering a free lunch as part of the event
