We are delighted to announce that we have succeeded in winning a second Lottery bid [ the first was two years ago] ! Above all this is a recognition of all we have achieved. As a result we can continue our work, with more energy, in promoting best practice in social care and health, integration and participation.
We will be consulting with our members and the public, about their views on these issues so we can run a series of workshops/forums, culminating in a conference. We will establish an online best practice resource and use an SMS or email link to ask people for suggestions, share results, and let people know what we are doing as a result.
The online resource will be there for not only professionals and volunteers to share example of best practice, but also for service users, patients and carers, to show examples of positive experiences , especially those that could, and should be, experienced by all.
Please see details of the engagement tool on the tab engagement tool, but in essence its an easy way to ask you questions – short easy to answer questions only once or twice a month. As a consequence we will share the overall results and tell you what actions we will take as a result.
We will let you know more as we develop our plans and the use of these tools, and we will check out with members and readers what we are progressing.
