NESCHA arranged meetings at Hartlepower to work with RDS North East and Cumbria, and Newcastle University, on ways understand the challenges and what is important in carrying our social care research. NESCHA was very keen to be involved as there is so little research carried out in social care as compared to health, and because we we believe so strongly in integration, something the importance of which has been emphasised in the Covid pandemic.

NESCHA, always keen to recognise the challenges for the workforce in health and social care, is running this conference in such a way that will allow workers, as well as patients, service users and carers, to attend in a way that allows them to attend a succinct, worthwhile learning experience, without great cost in terms of time and expense.
